I'm new to shaders and wondering if developing shaders are good solutions for the following:

wanting hair that looks real and eyes which look wet/highlight dynamically

Any info or suggestions are appreciated

there are lots of fur/hair shaders out there, they just need to be converted to work wit A6. I wish we could just use .fx and other shaders directly...:(
There are plenty of topics here for getting started in shader programming... its too much for me
