hey,
I was wondering if there were any plans to make a directX 10/11 version of gamestudio (maybe A8?).

jcl has answered this question a while ago already. There is no point in porting the engine to Dx10 (or even 11) unless you fancy less customers.

don't have to port. I believe jcl is already well practised at dual-supporting those stuck with older ways of thinking...

We don't want to maintain two different Gamestudio versions. We can do special DX10 or DX11 versions on customer request, but we have no plans to port the official version to DX10 anytime soon.

cool. If there is the possibility of taking a project and updating to Dx10 or whatever is current at that time, that should suit most needs.

Thanks,

Don
