Broken Brothers
Broken Brothers is a game for the experimental gameplay project. Meet Malakai. He has lost his brothers, and is feeling hopeless. Your objective is to bring hope back to him, so that he can use his increased zeal for life to summon units for you. You can then use these units to survive the giant flesh-eating bugs. It's quite nice. At first when I unlocked the bombers I found them difficult to control and not much use, and I lost quickly, so next time I didn't rescue any brothers until all the portals were closed, and that made it much easier.
It was fun, though, even though a "proper" progression didn't seem to be the best strategy.

Ok I have good and bad impressions about this game. I don`t have much experience making games but I have a lot playing them, so...
bad things; Do you really need to repeat so many times that you made the game on 7 days? is on almost every screen of the game, in the readme, EVERYWHERE! XD
It`s a very basic RTS, not a single pixel of originality, you can be original and keep things simple at the same time.
the first harvester costs 0, the second 3, the thirth 6, then 9, 12, and so on, is this a bug? what`s the logic behind this? it makes the game too hard!
good things:
the game design can keep you playing by itself. the music, the graphics, the voice of Malakai, the argument is very original, harvesters of hope, that`s epic!

I seriously doubt the harvester cost thing is a bug. The more harvesters you have, the quicker you make money, so with the system currently in place you can afford harvesters easily to begin with (which is important), and you can't just have as many as you want later without being strategic about your resources (which is also important). It really isn't that difficult to start off by making quite a few, continue to produce them as the game progresses and stay on-top of things. I think it's a good system. If it's not hard, there's not enough S in your RTS Jibb

Its well done for a 7 day work,
dont expect to have advanced strategy and buildup tactics then, as there is so much else to implement in the beginning. (pathfinding, statemachine, groupselection and orders, the Art assets)
This system can shurely be build up to a more advanced game, when more development time is spend.
But the idea, as I understood, was to get it ready within 7 days. And for that short time its great work.

this is real grafic-art :-) its hard to play, but makes fun and thats the most important target of a game, I think :-)
