apart from the comment on MS's photo it was not too bad, i think that it could be justified with a warning.

I don't even know where to start; we have had this discussion a million times and I would expect a long-time user to understand the forum rules. And I really don't know how to explain this any easier as in: You are free to comment on anything with your honest opinion as long as it is constructive. A user who has 4 posts, all made within a few minutes, that are all at least slightly unacceptable is surely not going to behave any different after a warning. Warnings are intended for "serious" users who stepped over the line. But if you sign up just to behave like a little child who doesn't get enough attention, then a ban seems more reasonable.

However, as with all decisions made by moderators, you are free to question them and we are more than happy to change them later on if it seems reasonable. However, if you cannot comment on our decisions in an appropriate way and start insulting us, then we can hardly take your comments seriously.



I assume that was aimed at me as well. If I was abusing my "powers" then I would have banned you for your insults because I can, but as I see it, I have only banned a user who was obviously violating forum rules, after several notifications from other users. jcl knows about this thread and the actions that were taken regarding that one user as well.

Also, we have decided to give you a warning for your insults and I really hope that you are able to keep them down from now on. There are better ways to voice your opinion.

And like checkbutton said, it would be nice if we could go back on topic.

Btw, I seriously think that jcl has better things to do then to watch some shitty topics.
M, you can do what ever you want, I don´t care about it. Even if you put up a red blinking cap which should warn users. fuck it.
But some last words to this offtop - If somebody come in and use some twisted words to try to describe what he see, even if he is not able to concrete say why he see something in which way ever... it would be better to analyse his opinion instead of killing him. O.k. killing is easier but if you ever develop a game - believe me - the meaning of the majority, which is not able to clearly describe what is wrong with your game, is more important then some kindly words of your friends.
Even if you develop a bloody hobby project.
And if MS present his face with green backlight, I am very sure, that he is not deadly serious about this act.
So there was no reason to kill this fellow by your hand.

he wasnt joking about commenting on the type of pictures or "joking" at all. He was saying how he things that ms should was dumb for making his hair look "anime" which is his opinion, but then he went on to insult him and the people around him like some kind of hair nazi.

Yes he did, but I don't care. In the end it was a decision out of my hands. Other people notified the post (and I wasn't one of them) because they saw it as offensive. Good for them. They got what they wanted.

Some of us are happy, others aren't: Welcome to life. Get used to it.
