WED (It's all I use)
-Compiler
*More optimized for compiling lighting faster.
*Optimize over all build time.

-3D View Window
*Incorporate in game preview button similar to Unreal.

-GUI
*The year 2001 is no longer here.....nuff said.

-Tools
*A custom geometry tool that allows you to create any little shape you desire. It would be a little editor window similar to MED's.
*A tool that will allow you to assign shader's and such to level geometry, without having to turn it into an entity then export it to 3Ds max just so you can bake lighting then import it to WED.....(had to catch my breath).....then finally assign your shader's.

I love GameStudio to death, but come on we have to catch up with the times our we will just be water under the bridge...

When you click on a block you will be able to assign a material/ shader in the Properties panel.

The game preview is GED. And you can load any shape from MED. Looks as if the requests are already fullfilled. I would even tell our map compiler developer that we want a fast build time, but when I think this over, I believe I already told him.
