Big Big tool and FREE Animation once you've learned how works armature , weight paint and action editor is so easy and powerfull. Yeah , the new interface will now bring lot more people on this fantastic FREE tool ! I tested it and it is progressing well , some points i've noted : -Even with new icons and some new tool system , 3D mode, action mode etc ... are the same to choose -Weight paint is not implemented - Where is the display option for bones (X ray) didn't find anything - WHRE IS THE 3D GIZMO ? i like it a lot and work with it exclusively (i hope they will do like Silo Gizmo : Universal manipulator ??) Well , a pleasure for the eyes ! Great and great, waiting next release !

Sorry , i've checked the manipulator under user preferences window, bu it doesn't appear ? Or i'm blind ? If the option is here , i've sused Blender from years and know some good parts of it, i can't imagine for a Blender beginner how difficult it will be to find simple things ! (Where is the lovely GIZMO ?) OK fond it : you have to click on the axes icon ! Well it should be displayed by default !

wicked. in the sculpting vid it seems as if the rake is a little slow sometimes... I dunno... seems to make working a little... less fun? Also, rather than seeing only the new featurs I'd have liked to see how he actually made that great castle:) Other than that: loving blender 2.5!

Did you see this graph? It is called the "Blender 2.5 Series Roadmap": Does it mean it takes forever to finish 2.5? They are working since 2007 and there is just something around 10-20 percent finished. And why does the 2.5 roadmap end with a version 2.6 after all alpha and beta stages are done?

Does it mean it takes forever to finish 2.5?
Betas 2, 3 and 4 will add additional UI features, alongside further tool development, leading up to a fully stabilised and production ready Blender 2.6 release in mid 2010.

Although it might be all beta, they are working along with these betas producing an animation movie, so I'm not concerned about whether they call it beta, or whatever, it seems always to be a sort of version that one can use to work with. But, I'm still exploring the tool, and I'm still far from using all features of version 2.49b. ----------------------------------------------------- (Just bought this DVD: http://www.venomgfx.com.ar/lab/ delighted by the following video http://vimeo.com/5184346 - probably already posted somewhere in these forums. Pablo Vazquez seems to be an extremely nice guy and is a gifted artist.)
