Good to see it's more artists oriented with new tools like "forest tool" for example.

When A7 will have such today interface ?
Just hope A8 to be a totally revamped world editor laugh !

Torque Torque Torque, it's always about Torque tongue
And, I don't really think that A7 is going to get a great interface like Torque's, but we HOPE that A8 will get some huge improvements.

Now they have two versions of Torque3D.

Torque3D and Torque3D Pro. The only difference is, that T3D does not have the source code of the engine. Ideal for artists because all editors including the forest kit (painting trees) are available.

Torque3D costs now 250 USD/seat. If you buy T3D this month (and only this month) the price is 100 USD/seat.

At Dexsoft we have a Torque 3d license and I am using it to make real-time screen shots for our packs. It is much better than previous versions. I can easily see models in their shape editor, I can edit materials and just add normal, spec or env maps, activate alpha blending for foliage and save materials with a single click. All needed scripts are automatically created.

Shadows are better than before and the option to use PureLight looks amazing.

But I also use C4 to test our models and textures because there are even more features available to create realistic materials and shaders.
