@achaziel:
Thanks for the nice comment laugh I try to keep my code commented and well sorted out, although some of the functions have weird names because I wasn't sure what they should actually do when I started writing them, lol. I'm like that. In fact this is actually the first project I've ever released that has used version numbers.

@Esper:
With the proper shaders and texturing, I'm sure it can. I just need to write a shader that applies cartoon shading AND bloom to a model. That would definitely make a model emit neon light.

i'm pretty sure that a7 can handle such effects. just a question of coding.

Hmm. Would like to test the version you have uploaded on RapidShare. But the download is over the limit of 10. You have to upload it again I think. Or you have to sign up for a colector's account.. -.-

Well, this is weird. I signed up for a collector's account and made a link to the file, but Rapidshare *still* won't let me download the file any more. Sigh. I guess I'd better upload it to Filefront.

You'll have to wait till my older brother goes to school again. Next time he does, I'll make sure he uploads it...

All right, the files have been uploaded.

Here's the link to the package containing the game files:
http://www.filefront.com/15106537/wargauntlet02.rar

And here's a link to some dll's you'll need to run the game. Just put these in the folder you extracted the game to.
http://www.filefront.com/15106545/libraries.rar

As you can probably tell from the URL, I'm using filefront as my file host now. Hopefully there shouldn't be any problems.

When i see a FPS (proffesional or not) i put my attention in two basic things:)

AI
Weapon System.

I think there are seven things perfectly defined to work and i thing the next is the priority order

AI
Weapon System
Phishics and particle system
World , models and characters.
and the story, of course.

Following that, when i see a FPS , the two first things i set my attention are AI and Weapon System.

Many people critics the simplicity of graphics. But i see a good weapon system. With good animations,reloads, etcetera. For example the grenade is excellent.

The AI is basic but works good. At least , the enemys behave difficult to shoot them. laugh

The world design i think is less difficult than the programing. But ever is hard to get a good world designer.

My congratulations.

I think if you get a good world designer and model designer you can integrate a team with the posibilities of make a great game.

P.D. Excuse me for my english. I only speak spanish.

Thanks for the comment Erick Castro. However I have not put AI into my game yet, so I don't know what you saw when you told me about this. Perhaps you were playing on a server with other people. I've already given this game out to a few cousins, they may be running servers of their own...
