If you mean BSP map from HL games, you cant... At least not directly
Need some map decompiler from BSP to map I guess...

BSP is already compiled, and you cant load it in the acknex engine.

But since WED bases on a Quake Editor, you can import .map files,
and if you are lucky even apply the WAD Textures.

The light will be probably messed up, and some blocks
for triggers etc need to be removed.
But basically you can import old Quake 1 and 2 maps for example.

You can't. They are already compiled.

You can only load UNcompiled maps with the *.MAP extension.

You could try that, but it doesn't work very well. During the compilation process, the maps are broken to pieces and many of their "faces" are destroyed. Thus rebuilding MAP files from limited BSP files is a rather painful process and doesn't really get you good results.

Why are you trying to do this, anyway? Are you trying to steal map files from Quake or something? Because those have been GPL'd and you can just download their source files right off the internet now for free. You just can't use them in commercial products and stuff.

There are a lot of custom made Maps from users.
I doubt that they complain when using them in a hobby game.
I would add a document with credits though.
