hey, i really like that style! And I'd like to hear more about the gameplay! players vs players or players vs ai? are you going to program the game on your own?
The game is players vs AI. I"m going for something similar to Gauntlet in spirit, where the players team up with premade/fixed character classes to fight through a dungeon.
So far I've actually programmed the game enough to support a playable level or two, but still need to add in some features and the other classes I've planned.

Yes, both have been swapped out with the new classes and the view style has been changed to an overhead 3rd person camera, not controlled by the mouse. Also the game now uses the arrow keys to move and Z,X,C for attacks instead of WASD and mouse-click

Hehehe yeah, I tend to throw stuff together really fast once I've thought about it enough. The version I have online is really out of date, I'll post the latest version in a little bit later today.
