Hi, in my game I have a level for the menu an many minigame-level I can choose. When I start the game I can change the resolution in the menu or can switch from window-mode to fullscreen.

Now there is a strange problem. After I once loaded an other level every time I try to change my resolution or switch video mode (back in the menu or via shortcut in the loaded level) it ends up in a hard crash.

W1246 DirectX driver failure: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.

I have an NVIDEA GeForce 8600 GT video device.

Any ideas?

After hours of debugging with an old stable version of my program I found the source of the error. It has something do do with an target_map or bmap_for_entity command. But it's so strange (maybe an engine bug) I'm gonna write an new forum thread about it.
