How do you get it for free? 'Cos it still costs around 50 euros in the shop...

I'm still using A6. I like the fact that it has a world editor because i cant make a world through code like lite-c. Granted i have a7 and i use a7 templates but i use A6 because i am so used to it.

A7 has a World Editor as well... Free lite-c and A7 Extra (free) are different things wink the latter came out some weeks ago, lite-c free was around since start of A7.

A6 is fully compatible with A7, you should give it a try laugh

I still like A6, I played around with A7 but i am used to A6, and just really got the hang of c-script . I think after i complete a project in A6, i may play with lite-c, but just to test. and i have no money to upgrade, lol.

My Famous Quotes: "Hip hop is like a virus, infecting everyone and everything around it. Every form of media has some way, shape or form, assimilated hip hop into it." It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

I was using A6 commercial, but I think about moving on to liteC free,
since it almost has more features than A6 commercial has!
it only has no shaders, and a few other things.
so I might move to A7 in an upcoming project

the fact that the liteC free is free is really usefull....
no team editions needed tongue

this is right
the free A7 offers useful features and i´m tend to use lite-c. c-script is extremly limited. always i´m coding in c-script i code like in c but then i wonder how some function do not work. then i see "not more than 4 parameters" for example.

but i also cant disclaim the features of my A6 Com (shaders, no watermark, ...)

i would use another engine (like irrlicht), but, firstly, there i have less experience and secondly i miss the comfort of Acknex (some features i have to implement by myself)

Why take Lite-C free? I guess this will die out soon anyway.

Extra Edition of A7 is now free. Coming with a level editor and still supports C-Script (of course also Lite-C).
Drawback is: no shaders, but still it's a nice present.

Say thanks to Unity wink
