I'm writing a game with many menus in it. So I have to load many panels. For each panel I have a pointer with a specific name. This is the method I'm using for loading:
My problem is that while about the first 40 panels load and displayed correctly, the next panels are all somewhat transparent and don't respond to mouse clicks. I've tried to change the order of initialization so bmaps and panels that had problems loading then fixed themselves but others got the same problem. So, it is not a problem of bad files.
All panels are initialized in the same way as the code is auto-generated.
Is there a limit to the amount of panels I can load in the same time?
