Whistler... Beta Testers Needed...

Hey...
Whistler will be launched very soon. We are getting close.

I am in need of a few beta testers to check out my Whistler Project.

I am also interested in finding someone to convert and rebuild my code into C-Lite.
(I would like to get this working with the Wii system and I've got to much to do and I'm running out of time.)

There are 200 pieces that make up the entire terrain and each piece has 9409 (97x97) verticies
All of the resort mountain terrains each have a 1536x2048 dds skin.

After the start up screen and video and load bar routine, the start frame rate is 90fps at 800 resolution.
The average frame rate at 1600 resolution is 40fps... unless a herd of elk is in the monitor view.

This baby is as high tech and high quality that is possable unless I rebuild the whole thing with a higher number of terrains. (200 was enuogh work crazy)
This one is running through A7.82 and has all the terrain code enacted with polycollision set at 2.
There are animated ski lifts in proper locations and teleport systems that bring you to the proper un-load locations. I still need to finish naming the ski runs with sprites.

This is not yet a download from our web site. But, there is other info about the project.

It looks great. But the snow on mountains looks.. odd. It's flowing down like lava..

ortucis,
Thanks...
It really does look like that....
I used satalite images and I didn't do any re-touching.
The images were taken in the spring.
Thanks for the comment,
Paul
