Hello fellow gamers,
Could someone please help? (I have A7.8 com)

1. How do I make a normalmap from a texture? (can't find data to do this - any tutorials please?)

2. having made my normalmap, how do I get it into the wod file? and if it is there, does it automatically apply itself to the texture?

3. can a normalmapped texture be applied to a model? or is it only for blocks?

well,
xnormal is a good tool to create normalmaps. you can download it for free on http://www.xnormal.net/

to use a normalmap, you have to use a supporting shader.
if you use the mdl-format you can add the normal map as a second (or third (depends on shader)) texture in med.
