As said mutiple times, the core of A7 is based on DirectX. So this would be more or less a rewrite of the engine core and I doubt this is going to happen anytime soon unless someone shows some dollars.

- We won't support Mac. With Bootcamp etc. Gamestudio already runs on the Mac. - We won't support Linux, with exception of a possible future Linux server. - We can port finished games to consoles on request, with approval of the console manufacturer. - We will possibly add phone/PDA platform support in future versions.

I'm working on getting acknex running on windows mobile 6 now, through the .NET compact framework. Failing that, use win32. But I don't have much time to work on it at the moment.

However Bootcamp cost extra and to extra cost to buy a Windows license. Not good for causal gamer, and I think it is really bad for indie developer.
