Step by step on how to create a terrain. I have looked on the forums for making a terrain but unable to find what I am looking for. Is there some where that will show you how to create a terrain right down to what to click on and texturing. It is the first basic thing that you have to have when making a outside game. I wonder how many people just give up when not able to find any thing on it. I know somebody will say here and show be the post. I just cant find it.

i am currently writing a med tutorial for the contest, it covers terrain creation but it is not ready yet. it will be ready by feb 2nd.

I am also interested in such a tutorial. is anyone familiar with one that teaches you about material shaders? how about things like making a realistic ocean shore?

it will be finished later today, at least, the terrain part is more or less ready. I did not covered how to apply a shader to terrain, but i can explain the usage of the default multitexture terrain shader if people wants.

yes for the main part, some parts are taking longer than i expected but i can upload the terrain part tonight.
