does anyone know of good animation/bone tutorials? i know nothing of model editor and cant seem to find a good tutorial

did you looked at the online manual??

There is a good section on this toward the end of the Game Design tutorial. Download this... http://download.conitec.net/wed_tutorial_e.zip and then double-click the WED_Tutorial_e.chm file to open the tutorial. Then click on the + symbol by Model Design and you should see "Bones" and "Animation with Bones" listed at the bottom of the list under Model Design. Click on Bones and start reading through the lesson that comes up. This is what I read and felt like it introduced things to me quite well. Good luck.
