I'm having problems with the shaders that are included in the gamestudio directory; they work fine in the included demo, but don't seem to work when I add them to my game. The specific shader I am having a problem with is specbump.fx.

are you applying the shader to level geometry or models?

I am having issues when this particular shader is applied to level geometry in terms of one side not being rendered

Oh sorry, they are being applied to models. I am using the normal maps and everything; I've done this tons of times with other shaders and have even edited some myself for simple things so it's not like some kind of newbie thing; I just wanted to use the default shaders. Interestingly enough, the other default shaders work great, it's just the normal mapping ones that don't seem to work outside of the demo.
