Okay.... I am posting this demo to see what cards this thing will run on. Please run the thing and report a yes/no.

I would like to know if this will work on most cards before I blow anymore time on it.
As it sits, I am scrolling the textures right now to show movement, at some point the I hope to get the specular transformed with the camera.

The card needs to support:
1). Environment Mapping Bump Mapping
2). VertexShader 1.0

It is a combo fixed-function and vertex shader at this time. Later it may wind up being vertex and pixel shader only.

Good luck...... hope it doesn't crash your computer!!!!

This looks great on a Radeon 9800 Pro.

I really like the scrolling texture (environment map?)

I am supposing that the EMBM is not supported on the MX 440. I googled a search to try and find some info, just so I could know.

A question to anyone: Should the vertexshader be defined as vs.1.1 instead of vs.1.0?? I mean, if a card supports 1.1 is should support 1.0, right?

The effect is using an environment "type" of map, however, I do not have the camera to texture transformation figured out yet so it does not work very well.

It looks really good. For 3d Gamestudio is this fantastic. Can you make a little Techdemo with this effect ?

Alexander: How do you guys get the FFP EnvBumpMap effect to work on your GeForce cards?? This does not make any sense, and short of me going out and buying a GeForce (since I am planning on the latest ATI) there is not much testing I can do.
The research I did said that Geforce's do not seem to run a FFP effect that uses both the EMBM and a PROJECTED texture in the same stage. So the idea was to use a vertex shader to do the transformation, but set up the textures in the FFP.

Doesn't work on GeForce FX5700. Just comes up black.
