I often use the command draw_text and the position of the text has to be calculated in proportion of the string's size.
Thanks for the new command str_width!
But is it possible to retrieve the font which is selected by draw_textmode, cause that is needed for str_width?

Furthermore: Does anyone know a way for getting the height size of a string/font?

font.dy is the height,

I asked about obtaining the string being used for textmode but was told to use obj_draw or whatever the function was... absolutely no use whatsoever
