Hallo,
wir brauchen eine AI/Pathfinding für unser Flugzeugspiel.

Das Flugzeug (AI) soll einfach einem Pfad folgen und bei einem bestimmten
Abstand zu dem Spieler drehen und auf den Spieler schiessen.

Das muss natürlich in der "Luft" passieren.

Hat da Jemand Interesse das für uns zu coden?
Natürlich für Ruhm und Ehre...

we need a AI/Pathfinding for our Airfixgame.

The Airplane(AI) should follow a path and when the player is in a range
to the player, then the (AI) should fire on the Player.

This should all happen in the "air" laugh.

Anybody can code this "unpaid" for us?

That sounds like some very weak AI. If all the airplanes do is fly on a predesignated path, they would be very easy to kill and it would also make the pilots look very stupid...

I understand it this way.
the AI is waiting while flying along a predefined path.
if it sees a hostile airplane it starts to follow this airplane.
if the AI is in firing range it starts to fire.
Later if the AI sees nomore hostile airplane, it returns to the path.

The AI is in this way weak:
the AI knowes no way to escape.
the AI knowes no special airfight tactics.

But who make a AI for free with "super AI Code"

So i think it is better to have any kind of AI is better then no AI? laugh

The Game is based on Multiplayer, so the weight is more on this.

When anybody can make this better for free, then we are happy, too laugh

In this case, no AI is better than weak AI, especially since the game is primarily multiplayer. If your AI turns out to be so weak its stupid, then nobody will respect your game. Just take a look at this game to see what I mean.

I have no money to pay a good ai coder, so i am happy when we have someone that will do this for us... credits etc... laugh
