ive been manually animating the second half of symmetrical bones animations (like running or climbing ladders), and if there isnt a better method i'll laugh because no game goes without a running animation and this is a setup for making games.

if med doesnt have such a tool could i import my half-animated model into another program which does, or something? or is there any way better than manually copying each bone angle because that worked for a while but my animations are getting too complicated for it. also it's ethically grotesque

any help very much appreciated.

Although MED has some tools, it is mainly meant to help importing models from more sophisticated tools. I use blender, because it is free.

hey blender is delicious, at least so far. Its a great relief to know that med isnt the kind of thing professionals use, it's really bad. It seems a bit selfish of acknex to not mention that their "med" is just a translation point between gamestudio and other tools before noobs waste a lot of time trying to work around its flaws. thanks for the advice, ive learned a few things today.
