Hi,

It would be great if IGNORE_FLAG2 wouldn't be limited to FLAG2 only ... could you add IGNORE_FLAGx for all 8 flags?

Regards,
Pegamode.

That would be very useful!

Seconded. Would be a very useful parameter.
I'd also love an "IGNORE_PLAYER" flag, or maybe an "IGNORE_ENTITY[pointer]", which was a much more flexible option than IGNORE_YOU or IGNORE_ME.

perhaps a IGNORE_MATERIAL[mat] to make ignoring water or clouds easier..

IGNORE_STUFF is some sort of predefined flags(bits?), so i am not sure if it is possible to do sstuff like IGNORE_MATERIAL[mat].

But yeah, IGNORE_FLAG1-8 would definately be usefull.

we discussed more generic solutions for this in the German 'Vertex-Nummer ändern + c_trace-Erweiterung' -Thread.
This should show that there is indeed a need to change something.

Something like this would also very nice:

ignore_skill99=5
c_trace(v1.x, v2.x, IGNORE_SKILL99);

This will ignore all entites which skill99 is set to 5...

Ok, I'll implement a new IGNORE_WHEN_SKILL99_SET_TO_5_OR_MATERIAL_BEGINS_WITH_X flag.

Or wait, how about collision groups?

Very funny, jcl, but I seriously think too that IGNORE_FLAG1-8 would be useful. I mean it can't be too hard to implement it (or are all flag bits already used?).
