I use sketchup for do buildings and i put the textures and all is right, after I save that as .3ds. With "fragmosoft" I open the fild and i can see the textures and buildings very well and export that in .mdl, but the problem is when i put that in 3d game studio wed lever editor, the texture appear very bad small very wide etc...

how can i fix that?

does your Texture have a Power of 2 ? like 1024*1024 ?

Try importing into med. Your texture seems to be uvmap, and not a set of tiles.


Unfortunately, I've not worked with 3dGS for a while now, but it was fun

My other problem with med is that when i import a .3ds lose quality disappear walls and thing, and i don't know why.

Do you have a file you can upload for us to take a look at? It would be much easier to help you figure out what's going on if we can see it ourselves.

My first check would be to see if you have any overlapping polygons/geometry.

I put two filds in a .rar

- Track.skp <--- open with sketchup
- Track.3ds <--- The object 3d.

When I import 3ds from med, you'll can see that .3ds disappear things.

Now appears the textures (.bmp 24 bits), but i have other problem! the texture appears with black box when I run the aplication, in the viewer all is right i can see all.

And I don't know why when I run the aplication if I put sky basic or something the objects that are became all black. Why?
