I'm not pretty sure if this is the correct section, but oh well... Yes, I do use it. It's pretty awesome and the best part is UV mapping. It has a waaaay more simpler interface than Blender, I've never figured out how to use Blender (Maybe because I'm just too lazy to read their tutorials ) And the secret in the whole program is... Right-Click.

Is it adequate to get your feets wet? I don't know anything about modeling and I even don't have a talent for this, I guess. Would you recommend it for a start and some simple objects?
Always learn from history, to be sure you make the same mistakes again...

i am not the best 3D modeller in the world, but here is something i pulled off with it: as i said, i am not the best. i used the you tube lowpoly castle tut, and worked from there and BTW, that is the best 3D model i have ever made

It is a great little program for what it is. Nice that it has fbx and obj. I been using it for awhile. Has a nice uv mapper too.
