I have a model in 3DS max to which I applied an image map for its diffuse material. It imports fine and look good when viewing in MED however when playing inside of a game it doesn't appear correctly.

On the top is model in game, on the bottom is model in MED.




Any ideas on what is going wrong?

disable the material setuup in med.
are you using shadows for the model?or transparent images??

How do I disable material setup in MED?

Whereabouts am I looking to see if I am using shadows/transparent image is it in SED?

open med->edit->manage skins->select skin->hit skin settings button to the right->uncheck material setup.

what image type you'r using for you'r model f.i:tga,dds,bmp..etc.
and you can forget about the shadows grin

Unchecking material setup made no difference. Format is PNG.

go to texture manager, select your texture and go to texture settings, check 24 bit from texture format, click ok. save.

Switching to 24 bit worked. Thanks heaps laugh.

While I got you guys here, The bounding box does not seem to be calculating correctly for the model any ideas on this one?

It is down lower than what it should be. Can provide screen if it helps.

you need to add c_setminmax(me); to your action, if this does not work, attach a screen shot.

put "c_setminmax(me);" in top of you'r model's action wink
