You can also just turn your addiction into something productive. Use this energy to create some applications you can sell to a target audience. Learn some other programming languages and try to find some gaps in the software market.

But you should not only concentrate on programming. You also have to learn algorithms, approaches, code pattern and other techniques. This is often more important than a programming language because you can apply knowledge like this to many of them.

But you probably already know this better than I do.

So make some nice tools, some working AI components or whatever, learn to write good documentation and help and how to distribute them.

Dont work against your passion, use this energy, but use it wisely to not destroy your health!

There's a quick cure, if cannabis is legit where you live. (you'll still be crazy wild about programming, but hey, everything else will seem a little better too.)
