I don't understand why all the templates (in all the upgrades) are still written in WDL but all the latest codes and work is done in C-lite.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I just upgraded to the 7.8.5..and just as a test, created a small shooter from the list in WED and looking Program Manager, all the scripts are the WDL. Should I be looking elsewhere? (and thanks for the quick response)

yes, that's because these templates are from A6, the new templates are being developed by George. The A7 car template is ready and included in gamestudio, the FPS template is currently during development, and the RPG and multiplayer templates will be developed later.
