GameLock is a new and innovative software that protects any kinds of Windows games. Through its intuitive interface it guides the final user in a very important phase of the Game Creation process, the Game Protection.
Nowadays it can’t be possible to release a game without any kind of protection, even a basic one. In really fast time this game would be copied and diffused online.
There are various protection utilities avaible on the market, some that offer very basic protection, some that are so high level just as their price. GameLock is the best protection when not spacing in high level hardware disc-encoded protections which are really intrusive and also really expensive.
GameLock is the extremely balanced choice in game protection market.
It provides many features, many customizable options, to give you a very reliable and powerful software suite.

It comes out in three versions. The difference between the versions is the price, and many other features that are briefly explained with this chart:

An HD video demonstration can be seen at this link
http://vimeo.com/13077351

The website where you can gain more info and buy the product is open at this link:

http://www.computerfix.altervista.org/gtd/

The price of the three versions:

Standard Version --- Single Key Protection
€ 9,90

Professional Version --- Multiple Keys Protection
€ 18,30

Enterprise Version --- Online Validation + PHP/MySQL WEB SERVER
€ 24,90

And in addition to all the stuff already included, the Enterprise version will bundle an useful utility to create fast Installers-Autoruns, to let you burn your game to your CD-DVD media in very speed time!!

The order evasion time can space from few minutes from the reception of your order to the maximum of 2 days in unlucky cases.

The product - price sounds great:

But altervista website(spanish?) and a completely empty forum sounds a bit annoyning...

A question: Is it possible to deactivate features? Like the tab switching?

Altervista is an italian hosting, and it is really god for what it gives.
The only features that cannot be disabled are the task-switching, and the executable protection while executing. This choice has been made for security reasons. The Anti-Task switching is an extremely important feature and can't be disabled to increase the final protection.
Wish I have cleared your doubts.

How does it work? Is it I/O expensive? Do you use a symmetric or asymmetric encryption? Does the encryption make use of multiple cores? And last but not least: Is there a test application which uses your system so that we can test it?

You can find a demostration of how it works by viewing the Video linked in first post.
It combines the two encryption types, symmetric and asymmetric, and no, it isn't resource expensive.

Seems like a good system.

What happens if the game gets interrupted for some reason? Let's say an anti-virus program wants to alert you and disturbs the game? Is the game forced to end in this case?

  • a motley website with less information (not even on an own server)
  • they claim a "Very strong Protection Engine". where are information about interal flows?
  • an (really) empty forum
  • developers i never heard from
  • very cheap prices for such a feature

what should i say? for me, there are 5 obviosly reasons to distrust tongue
only if i get insight into the enginecore i can evaluate it

you can´t start selling security applications without that the developers are confidental (or at least inspiring confidence). this is the main corpus
