Hello,

I have created a castle structure in the WED editor. I am trying to create a door opening for the drawbridge on the front entrance. Every time I create a cube shaped like the square portion of the drawbridge, place in it the wall where the drawbridge will eventually go, and click Edit/CSG Subtract, the cube does cut an opening. However, these extra walls always shoot out from the corners of the cube to the opposite end of the castle, giving me an extra hallway I do not want. When I try deleting these extra walls, it also deletes a huge portion of the castle that I do want.

Does anyone know how to prevent these extra walls from shooting out from the corners of my cutting cube every time I use Edit/CSG Subtract?

It has also mutated into other strains like, trip hop, house, rap, gangster, and conscious forms. Once you are infected with it, its with you for life."

Hello Blink.

Never mind. I think I figured out how to solve this problem. All the rooms in my castle were hollowed cubes, but the building structure that the rooms were in was not hollow. I made the building structure a hollow cube as well, stretched the room walls closer to the building structure walls, and now CSG Subtract is not giving me extra walls I do not need.

Thanks for your concern though. :-)
