Hi, folks! I want to show you something I've been working on lately, a side-scrolling multiplayer skateboarding game. I have written the code some months ago, but today I've decided to implement a basic multiplayer code. It's nothing special yet, many things are missing (enemy's animations, ...), but it's working and I think it's quite enjoyable.  (gameplay only, no graphics) Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V91Z83M4--MSome information: Goal: Join the server anytime ('unlimited' clients) and get the highest combo score in 3 minutes. After the time runs out, the round will restart. If you are familiar with Trackmania, you'll know the deal. The chat system is based on Michael_Schwarz's code. Controls are simple, in fact they are "the same" as in my Superku side-scroller because the Skate singleplayer version will be a minigame in my platformer: Hold [S] to grind, wallride, spine transfer and wallplant, [D] to kickflip and indy. Uses native gamestudio multiplayer functions, no DLL/ plug-in. Server is: See latest post for demo and server information.
