These splitters will work fine for the audio channels (red and white).
But for the video channel (yellow) its a bit trial and error...
The problem lies in that not all devices use the same 'impedance' on their inputs.
So you may find that splitting the video may give the devices "unbalanced" signal,
so one or the other or even both may not receive enough signal to show a 'clean'
picture.
If this is the case, you could look around for an 'active'(uses power) splitter,
or even another cable-splitter with heavier insulation may do it too..
I would go for the active splitter certain sucess.... You can probably get one
for about $20, and it will handle the video and both audio channels.

With a bit of hunting you should be able to find one that does the audio channels too.
