I am editing a level for someone and I am having some issues in WED's 2D viewports that I hope someone can help me with. When the level loads the view is quite far away. When I zoom in geometry starts to disappear off the 2D views. This makes it very hard to work as I cannot see where I am moving anything. I have the 2D views rendering in wireframe. Any clue as to what is going on?
That's because of the limited view depth. Click into the window and hold [+] to increase the depth, the value will be displayed in the lower center part of WED.

I'll give that a try, but the items are popping in and out as I zoom. It is not that they are just disappearing as I get closer. I zoom, they pop out. I zoom more, they pop back in. Etc.
It could be that when you zoom in, you focus objects on different heights/ distances with the mouse. Be aware that you change all components of the view positions, not only 2, when you move and zoom in a 2D view. You can uncheck "Lock Views" to avoid this (bad) behaviour.
