3d Mini Golf presented by First State Bank of Shelby, MT
3d mini golf game i "created" after reading one of george's tutorials that just happened to use a mini putt putt as an example- so i am here to hear any glitches or worse (bad game play)- the latter is harder to correct- anywhoop- any feed back would be greatly appropriated before i publish to the web- thank you for your time- and please- enjoy -peace- TOBY <<<<>>>> DOWNLOAD @ http://13fuzzybunnys.com/files/3d_mini_golf_setup.exe<<<<>>>> HOMEPAGE - http://13fuzzybunnys.comi greatly appreciate the years of tips tricks code and learnin' the forumn has provided- this was my first attempt at a advertisement driven game- all funding was provided by the advertisers- the initial game creation was payed for by the bank- all other billboards were purchased by their respective signs- HOMEPAGE - http://13fuzzybunnys.com

I played it and i thought it was very good. I have a few suggestions 1. when I hit the ball uphill and it would stop and start to roll backwards it allowed me to hit the ball for that split second and I was able to repeatedly tap the ball up the hill one tap after the other. perhaps a 1/2 second delay before allowing the player to hit the ball after it has stopped would fix this. 2. when I set the power of the hit of the ball there is no way to not hit the ball. For example I had the ball right next to the hole but accidently held the button too long and too much power. So I continued to hold the button hoping that after it reached maximum it would drop back down. But it did not and I had to hit the ball full force. So my suggestion is to allow the power of the ball to be reduced after it reaches maximum power. 3. I don’t think the maximum power is strong enough. I feel like maximum power should send the ball flying and rapidly bounce from wall to wall. a lot of the shots felt imposable to get hole in one because maximum power was not strong enough. there are my suggestions. I hope this helps. I really enjoyed your game and I even got out my 3d glasses good luck to you.

perhaps a 1/2 second delay before allowing the player to hit the ball after it has stopped would fix this. Actually, I would say that you should only allow the player to putt the ball if the ball has stopped moving. A timer would not be a very good solution here. when I set the power of the hit of the ball there is no way to not hit the ball. That's a good suggestion. I however would suggest that you make a whole other "cancel putt" button, which would reset the power build up and also allow the player to take his finger off of the putt button if he decides not to hit the ball after all. Oh yes, happy birthday Mike.

@ toby - the 3D glasses worked and i played half the holes in 3D. i like having it as an option. The fly through as well as the background models looked very good and gave it a complete game feel. perhaps a 1/2 second delay before allowing the player to hit the ball after it has stopped would fix this. Actually, I would say that you should only allow the player to putt the ball if the ball has stopped moving. A timer would not be a very good solution here. The problem here is that the ball has technically stopped moving because its speed is zero. as it begins to move up an incline it looses speed until it stops then starts to gain speed in the other direction. at the point where it stops the game allows the player to hit the ball. perhaps there is a better way to fix this problem without a time delay. [quote] Oh yes, happy birthday Mike. Thanks
