I have searched and can't seem to find what is causing this message. I am useing textures 256x256, beasting pc, my level is small, one building, a 4 level cathedral.

Where can I find info on how large a level may be, as far as quants on the grid is conserned..? The tutorial seems to lack this info and the manual seems to be hiding this info in invisable ink..

Ok, been messing around with the compiler. It only gives me this message when I build in BSP, Never get it in simple mode. Mwhy?

No ideas? Anyone?

I tried changing the texture sizes and formats, still get the message even if building in simple mode.

Can't even finish an entire building.

Hey...
One would first think that either your computer is small and out-dated...
Then might wonder what the "virtual memory" is set on the machine...
Have you set yor virtual memory as high as possable?
Go into the "Control Panel"...
Then click on "System"...
Then click on "Advanced"...
Then find the "Performance / Settings" button and click on it...
Then click on the "Advanced" tab...
Then click on the "Virtual Memory / Change" button...
Then look at and read that info and MAX OUT THE VIRTUAL MEMORY !
That might help...
Good Luck...

Well, I wouldn't say outdated, couple of years old.

I7 920 @2.67 GHz
3 GB RAM
64-bit OS ( windows 7 )

And its set for 86000 MB of virtual memory. I will push it up as far as it will go, but I was under the impression it would slow loading levels by doing that.

Set it to 300000 MB still no help... even changed ALL the textures to the default texture just to see... still get the same error when building..

Only thing else I can think of is something running in the background, could Kaspersky be the problem....?...

Hey...
Now we know the machine stats...
Obviously your VM setting is not the problem...
(Back during A6 that was an issue worth investigating.)
Quad made the suggestion I thought of as I read your stats post...
If you can... let us have a look at your level...
If you let Quad look at it.... he'll get to the bottom of your trouble....
(That offer is nice of you Quad !)
But I'm willing to have a peek too....
I'll just have another cup a coffee and have at it too !
Tunisod, pour me a cup will ya. Ya got any Kahlua to go with that?
