My script is behaving strangely, but it is more of an engine question than a script question that I have:

If an entity emits particles, but the entity is invisible, will the particles also be invisible? This is the behavior I am getting from my particles, and it's not the desired behavior....

Thanks for any help.

It shouldn't. You should probably post your particle code so we can have a look at it. Perhaps your particles aren't even being emitted, and this would be why you don't see them.

edit: Or are you saying that when you make the entity visible, you can then see the particles?

Either way, post your code.

Thanks, I got it to work, it was a problem with the particles being emitted at the wrong location.

So I finished up that particle effect and it kicks! :girn:

Actually its really primitive but it fits its purpose well. I'll post a shot soon if anyone cares.
