Hi, sorry to bother you. I have an hour before work to program, and just bought a8 commerical without previously using the demo. I previously owned a6, and was able to build a world in WED. I'm pleased with how fast it seems to build. Can you direct me to an example of creating a walking, maybe fighting character action?
Sorry if this is covered in the tutorial. I just have an hour to study this before work and am excited by the added potential of A8 over A6.

I find the 'Improved player movement' code useful as a starting point: http://www.coniserver.net/wiki/index.php/Improved_Player_Movement
The Wiki in general has quite a few good code snippets: e.g. http://www.coniserver.net/wiki/index.php/Scripts#Player_Movement

Thanks everyone. Simply amazing, that people replied helpfully, instead of saying 'Read the manual, idiot!' I guess this is the help you get from the forum, not the kind of nasty replies people write on you tube. Very helpful suggestions. I'm trying different code snippets. Thanks.
