Today I was working on something random...a room with a model pumpkin and a light in it. at first only the pumpkin and the room would show, then only the room and light would show. so eitherway something went wrong and no matter what I did the result soon became room with light. so I restart my computer and open WED, only WED wouldn't open. I checked window task manager and it was a running process but nothing would show up on screen...no WED. so I come back to my computer about 20 minutes later and ta-da WED was finaly there; though running slowly. After getting tired of repeating all of the abouve processes over and over, I though that perhaps a re-installation of 3DGS would do it. So after I spent a good half hour looking for my key floppy disk...(I found out I had the KEY.exe saved to my computer anyway
) I finally re-installed it I open WED and it comes up immediatly. Suddenly I relize it's not updated so I go and download the updates and after all the I'm back to waiting 20 minutes for WED to come up on the screen.
Any Ideas ,anyone, as to why this would happen?
PS: as I type this WED comes up on the screen
