Hi! I have the following problem: I've built a scene of only two physics objects in a test scene outside my project but now when I move that over INTO my project the objects behave different. They still have the same code, the same models, the same physics globals, the same size. The only thing I changed is that creation of the objects is done by code. Any ideas what could mess this up? If you want to see the problem I could post some videos...

In what ways do they behave differently?

Are the new objects being created in the exact same way? Position, rotation, distance between each other, are all the same?

Are you sure the objects are not being created inside of another object, block, etc?

Do the two physics objects share a constraint? If so, changing the angles or positions where they start could affect the constraint and affect how the objects react.

Is there any other code in your project that relates to the physics engine, such as affecting gravity?

Ok, it's working now. I don't know why but hey, I'll be the last one to complain about it.
Just another question that basically doesn't matter anymore but just for the interest:
Why behave two models with the same mass, same model file but with different scales different when I let them rotate about their origin? In my physics understanding (which isn't very good I must admit) the scale shouldn't matter if the mass is the same.

Just to think about it...

If there is a dancer on ice showing its "piruette" (spinning around himself),
he rotates much faster if he has his arms very close to his body.
And gets slower if he spreads his arms away.

I guess your small model rotates faster than the large scaled one.
If this is the case - it should be that way.

This effect relates to the dancer's arms, they have to be watched as different physical objects with constraints to the inner object(the rest of the dancer's body).
