Hi, I recently purchased a model which came with a colour, normal, spec, and height map. Does anyone know which order each map should go in MED so that shaders work properly? Also, are any extra skin settings required for the skin maps?
Depends on the shader your using. Some shaders need effect maps in alpha channels too.

But for shaders that don't, they just won't use the maps in the alpha channels right? So if I understand correctly, there is no harm in attaching all the maps to the models?
Is there any particular shader that is often used for inanimate objects?
