Hello community,

I created a Tree-Model with an alhpa channel.
My Problem is that it seems I can look to the backside of the Model.
This Problem appears, with every alpha model!
I am using MED for my Models with 32 Bit and Alpha Skins.

You can see that the tree seems to be invisible at some parts.

I used the forum-search but can't find anything.
I hope anyone can help.
Sorry if it is to easy.

Thanks in advance

Best regards
Sebbi

You have to separate your trees in two skins: the trunk with a 24-bit texture, and the leaves with a 32-bit texture

If you have Photoshop (atleast with CS5), you can create alpha skins very easily and so far I never have problems with them in .png format. Photoshop doesnt ask for which 24bit or 32 bit here, so I dont know for sure which bit format it is. But it works perfect with add layer mask.

Before I used .tga 32 bit too, but I had sometimes errors which I never have with .png (but maybe that was because I used Paint Shop Pro 9 than instead of Photoshop). And .tga is also very big (filesize), IIRC .png is more optimized.
