Hi, I just started to run Z2 on a FXCM Demo account when after about 1 day it has frozen with an error message that says that my broker will not permit more than 1 trade of this type for each trade. Even worse, there are trades running on my account that I can not exit even tho I have closed the Zorro robot. I have a UK Standard account with Hedging enabled. What should I do? Thanks, Bob
Make sure that you really have an UK standard account. What you describe is an US account. They are restricted by the NFA rule, and are only supported from Zorro 1.03 and above. Look here:
The account was running this morning but not entering or closing existing XAU or XAG positions. I checked with FXCM. The account is a UK Demo. They had to set me up with a new Demo because neither they nor I could close orders or positions when Z2 was either running or shut down on my old account. Too Bad.
They could not close the positions on their own demo account with their own platform? Thats interesting. If that would happen on a real account, that would be subject for a refund because it's a clear bug of their platform.
Do you still have the z2demo.log? I'd like to see those error messages.

Hi again, I downloaded the new Zorro 1.03. The Z2 Test on both my Local machine and VPS ran smoothly with better profits than the old Z2 version. However when I turned on the Trade function on my VPS, it gave the message below. I use FXcolo for my VPS. This is recommended by FXCM.
What do you think?
Downloading USOil prices.. ok Downloading UK100 prices.. ok Downloading XAU/USD prices.. ok Downloading XAG/USD prices.. ok
Trade: Z2 portfolio on 26.11.2012 Error 051: Can't continue trades Read Z12.fac Z12.par [800: 26.11. 18:45] 1.0450 Copied to Clipboard! Error 050: Can't open C:\Program Files (x86)\Zorro\Log\Z2.trd Cancelled by user Logout.. ok
Ok, this is due to the fact that old trades were found, but could not be continued because the trade format has changed between 1.01 and 1.03. This gives an error message.
Stop trading and close Zorro. Then look in the "Log" folder for a file named "Z2.trd". This file contained the old Z2 trades in the wrong format. Delete it manually. Then start Zorro and start Z2 again.
