This is an interesting and useful blog in general, but I thought this post was important enough to make a point of sharing with the rest of you, so here you go.

As I'm sure some of you are aware, integrating time into game logic is an issue in many cases, especially when you're not using a game engine that doesn't already have a clear way of factoring time into your calculations like Gamestudio does. However there is more than one way to go about doing that, and some ways are better than others. Non-deterministic methods should be avoided unless you want to run into many headaches down the line, especially when it comes to multiplayer.
