hi,

for a presentation i want to capture my game to video (avi, mpeg or the like) and edit it afterwards with sound. does somebody know a good tool for this or is there already an engine implementation for this?

Try fraps at http://www.fraps.com/.
The unregistered version allows you to take a 30 sec. video from your game.
This should be enough to check if it works good for you.

If it appears to be jumpy, just restrict your max_fps (just to have some cpu cycles left for the fraps application).

It works fine for me.
AND, don't let you tell you the free version is without sound - this was an older version for Win95.
