I'm at the point in my game where I'm getting ready to share it with some friends to test it, but I realized they might have a different screen resolution than I have. Right now, my game is set up with
video_set(1366,768, 0, 1);
If I don't know what their screen resolution is, how can I automatically detect it? I thought I could use screen_size.x and screen_size.y to grab the monitors resolution but apparently those are defined when I use the code above. I've been reading the manual looking at video_switch and video_mode but I'm not getting anywhere.
