Hi jcl,
I've had zorro 1.16 z12 running with the metatrader bridge on a demo account for some months. FX only and phantom trades set to one in the z.ini.
I've had a couple of these entries below over the last day or so:
[Fri 22.11. 04:11] 12503 -825 +134 /
{AUD/USD:HP:s3415} Cover 49@0.00000: +46221$ at 04:11
It has never happened with a live trade.
1) Surely something like this would adversely affect the stored equity curve and the phantom trading system?
2) Can anything be done now to recover the equity curve or to prevent these happening in future? I was planning to upgrade to 1.20 over the weekend anyway so was going to lose the equity curve in any event - so this is more theoretical question for any time it happens in the future, esp with my own phantom trading scripts.
3) A general query about phantom trading and optimalf. When training FACTORS, should the phantom trading mechanism be on or off? and when trading don't both mechanisms do a similar job of keeping capital away from the algo when it is performing poorly so is it ever advisable to have both running?
