Any chance for 3D Gamestudio A6 to get working, partially or in full, under Wine for SUSE 9.2 Linux? I have read that A5 could be made to function under Linux. Partial functionality, like just running MED, would be of benefit to modelers.

well try the new winex (now known as cedega 4.2).
With it, it should be possible to run HL2 right out of the box! So I guess there could be a good chance.

I bought Cedega a few days ago, and when it's here, I'll tell you if it works.

I got WineX, and it works (more or less) perfectly, conitec should just make a new OpenGL renderer so the 3d view is not rendered in Sofware mode.

Nice... Have you tried to run GS games in Linux? Would be cool if they worked...

Bei mir funktioniert irgendwie nur der WED, und wenn ich nach Build auf Run klicke passiert --> nichts
Bei MED und SED bricht er immer mit der Fehlermeldung can't open ACKOLD.dll ab.

Hab mal nachgesehen, es gibt ACKOLD1.dll, ACKOLD2.dll etc. Aber kein ACKOLD.dll

Here only the WED works. But only part of it. When I klick in Build everything es OK, but if I klick on Run after it nothing happens.

MED and SED don't work because they abbort with this error:
Can't open ACKOLD.dll
I looked after this file but there are Only ACKOLD1.dll, ACKOLD2.dll and so on. But no ACKOLD.dll

Could it be that I did something wrong?

wie ich die software zum laufen grebracht hab? ich hab winex installiert und auf die anwendungen doppelklick gemacht!

WED und MED funktionierne bei mir tadellos, allerdings weiß ich nicht wie es sich bei A6 verhält da ich ja noch A5 habe. Ich lade mir mal die demo und schaus mir mal an!

Übrigens: Du musst nicht im ICQ beleidigt sein wenn ich nicht antworte, ich guck halt um diese zeit immer dem abnedfilm im fernsehn!
