Related questions:

1) Are there any recommended news feeds? Or, alternatively, any feeds to definitely avoid?

2) What about feed history? How does one backtest a strategy that uses news feed(s)?

Thanks.

Best news feed is easily Reuters. Obviously Bloomberg is quite good as well, however Reuters is consistently faster in my experience. Both are obviously quite expensive for the full software packages. For squawk services Ransquawk is the best. Trade the News is also quite popular, however they are consistently a few seconds behind Ransquawk on the audio delivery. Not sure on their text delivery. I've never followed either for text, as they are relaying info from Reuters/Bloomberg etc, however they will both be substantially cheaper than Reuters/Bloomberg.
