Felix, you said they picked you after only 64% voting. You mostly popped up on there radar when your game gained 64% votes in like 3 days time. Your supports turned out in droves.

Thank you!
Yes, most definitely the strong support at the start and the positive yes-no ratio were deciding.

EDIT: Thanks @below too!!

So... I've just added a basic health system (3 hits, then you are dead/ have to go back to the checkpoint) and it's working to some extent already.
It doesn't feel that bad either but I'm not sure if that's the right direction or game design decision for Superku (I can already hear JustSid trashtalking this idea as being too casual :-P ).
How do I find this out and make the right decision? I bet you guys would all/ most of you say to make it 3-hit-based instead of one-hit-death, right?

I would say 3. Unless you are doing the Miami Hotline approach where there are alot of checkpoints and luck plays a minor or no role (which can be hard to do right).
Possible add a nightmare mode with 1-hit kill called "Kunightmare" or "there is no superku level" tongue

Well, I don't know how hard superku actually is since I've only seen a little ingame footage. However, I think the 3-hit approach is a good choice.
BUT I'd still recommend you to implement some kind of 'hard mode' where being hit just once sends you back to the last checkpoint or the beginning of the level.
I also think that this would increase the game's replay value. (you could for example make this 'hard mode' a difficulty that you unlock once you finished the game)

I don't know if this really fits to what you had in mind, though.
